Adams has a lot of hard to find gourmet and health food items. But their prices on common grocery items are high. They're not the place to go when you want a bargain but when you want either produce or meat both which generally have good and competitive prices or when you need a hard-to-find item that you know they happened to have. Their Garden Center has a good variety but the prices there are high compared to the competition.

We love Adams. The food is always fresh. However, since they opened up, which wasn't really that long ago, the prices keep going up. It's not like they go up a quarter a pound, but $2 since they opened. I mean come on are hot mozzarella sticks really worth $9.99/lb. The salad bar and hot food items have really shot up in price. The food is really great, so it is worth paying for it once in awhile. I wish they would bring back the small red peppers on the salad bar. I got a large peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie that was amazing! I wish that you could buy the rugula by the pound like you can in the Kingston store. Thanks for doing what you do!

When I went to the buffet, and got the beef stew, macaroni and cheese and one roasted chicken to take home, I had tasted their beef stew, macaroni and cheese, and one roasted chicken, it was not that tasty at all. It was to tough on the chicken, not soft. Same for the beef on the beef stew. The macaroni and cheese was average. And I had also bought a gallon of their fat free milk. And the reason I am giving three stars is like Fairway Market avoid their prepared foods at all costs at the store.

I do not mind paying extra for the food that I bring into my home, but I have to be certain that it is fresh & of good quality. Unfortunately I do not feel comfortable ordering cakes or food for family occasions at Adam's Fairacre Farms. Better quality control needed.

I have also purchased cookies that are stale.

I shop at Adam's regularly for produce, which I find to be of very good quality. However , I do not feel confident when purchasing from the Butcher section or the Bakery section. Today was the 2nd time that I have opened a package of Bell & Evans chicken & it smelled awful . Also , I purchased a cake a few months ago . I was mortified when a guest said "I think this cake is bad, the cream tastes like blue cheese."

Great local in season produce. Delicious and affordable meat selection. Amazing cider donuts. Also just found the thing I attached a picture of (it was sort of like a little chocolate babka) it was incredible.
